A Halifax-area man and woman have been arrested following an illegal tobacco seizure in Victoria County.

RCMP say 64 cases of unstamped tobacco bound for Sydney were seized from a van during a traffic stop on Hwy 105 in Millville last Friday.

Investigators estimate it’s worth about $160,000.

The two accused have been released and are scheduled to appear in court in June.
