Cleanup continues in our neighbouring province this morning.

With the amount of snow on the ground in Nova Scotia, Premier Tim Houston requested the help of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island for cleanup.

New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs has responded.

In a social media post, Higgs says he has reached out to Houston to offer any assistance needed during this time of recovery.

Over 100 centimetres of snow fell in Cape Breton over the weekend, 150 centimetres in Sydney and the Halifax region around 40 centimetres.
