Poor road conditions are forcing a pause in service for Halifax Transit.
The city announced it would pull buses off the roads shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
However, a post on X from councillor Waye Mason indicates the city is haulting the service at 10 p.m. for the remainder of the night.
It comes after a number of buses were stuck on slippery roads in Halifax and Dartmouth.
The city states bus operations will resume when it is safe to do so.
Highway closures and incidents
- A tractor trailer is stuck in the righthand lane on Highway 102 (inbound) between exits 4 and 3 in the Rifle Range Hill area. Right lane will be closed until further notice.
