A crash closed a section of road in Digby County.

Highway 1 was shut down between the Meteghan and Salmon River Connectors for most of the morning.

The Department of Public Works says closure began just after 2:30 a.m.

The road re-opened before 10 a.m.

No word on injuries or how many vehicles were involved.
