A scary moment on a Halifax ferry after a person fell into the harbour.

The Coast Guard and other rescue crews were able to help out quickly and take them to shore.

Alderney Ferry crossings have been cancelled until 3:30 p.m. with a shuttle provided.

We will have more information when it is available.

Due an ongoing situation at the Alderney Ferry Terminal, the following ferry crossings have been cancelled:
Departing Alderney at 14:45 & 15:15
Departing Halifax at 15:00 & 15:30
A shuttle will be provided.
