Power outages are beginning to pile up as a late winter storm moves through New Brunswick.
NB Power reported nearly 2,100 homes and businesses without electricity as of 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
That includes 1,045 customers in Greater Moncton, 741 in the Central York/Sunbury region, and 296 customers in the Kent region.

Weather forecast
The storm is bringing a mix of rain, ice pellets, freezing rain, and snow to southern and central New Brunswick.
Rainfall warnings are in place for Saint John, Kings and Charlotte counties, were 25 to 45 millimetres of rain could fall before the changeover.
Greater Moncton and southeastern New Brunswick are under a freezing rain warning. Freezing rain and ice pellets will change to snow Thursday afternoon, with between 10 and 15 centimetres possible.
Further north, a snowfall warning is in place for Kent County and Miramichi, with between 15 and 20 centimetres of snow expected on Thursday.
A special weather statement is out for Greater Fredericton and Grand Lake, where snow and ice pellet accumulations could reach 10 centimetres.

Delays and cancellations are being reported at the Saint John Airport and the Greater Moncton International Airport.
On the roads, conditions are beginning to deteriorate throughout southern New Brunswick as the rain changes over to freezing precipitation.
