Environment Canada meteorologists are currently tracking a severe thunderstorm that could produce strong wind gusts, heavy rain, and up to nickel sized hail.

The locations potentially impacted include Thunder Bay, Pigeon River Provincial Park, Cloud Bay, Pigeon River, Wamsley, Crystal Lake, Pardee, Bearpad Lake, Cloud Lake, Crooks, Neebing, McQuaig Lake, Caldwell Lake, Johnson Lake, Thunder Bay International Airport, Loch Lomond and Ward Lake.

Wind gusts are expected to reach 90 km/h.

Environment Canada is asking people to monitor any updates on the storm.
