Halifax Regional Police are on the scene of a collision in Dartmouth and are redirecting traffic away from the area.

Police say just before 9:30 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to a single-vehicle crash where a transport truck had overturned on Akerley Boulevard near Wilkinson Avenue.

The driver was taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

There will be no access inbound to Akerley Boulevard for an extended period of time, from either Highway 107 or Highway 118.
