A man from Indian Brook is facing charges after being found unconscious with elvers in his vehicle.

Meteghan RCMP say the 32-year-old was found behind the wheel on Highway 101 in Concession early Thursday morning.

He was taken to the Yarmouth detachment, and failed a drug test.

Fisheries officers were called to the scene, where they seized 1.5 kilograms of elvers.

RCMP say additional charges could be laid.
