Students have been dismissed early with a heavy police presence at Halifax West High School as officers investigate a threats complaint.
Police say officers responded to a report of a threat Monday morning and are on scene checking for any safety concerns.
Lindsey Bunin from Halifax Regional Centre for Education says in an email to our newsroom that it comes after a ”message was written in a bathroom stall.”
“The safety of students and staff is our highest priority, and all threats are taken seriously.”
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call police.
