It’s official. The Moncton Wildcats have named Gardiner MacDougall as their new Head Coach.
After announcing his retirement from UNB’s men’s hockey team last night, MacDougall will now lead the Q league team.
“Shortest retirement in hockey history,” MacDougall said after his introduction during a news conference on Wednesday morning.

Moncton Wildcats Owner Robert Irving also announced the team’s new General Manager and Director of Business Operations, Taylor MacDougall.
