Witnesses are describing a spectacular crash in Halifax.

It happened on Thursday afternoon when a transport truck plowed through the guardrail and off an overpass on Highway 101 and landed on the busy Highway 102 underneath.

Devan Parson watched the crash take place.

“I watched it coming from Sackville heading toward Bedford and it cut across traffic and went off the overpass”

It is not know what caused the crash or if there are any injuries.

“I stopped for fuel and my father was behind me in the other dumptruck heading for the quarry and he watched the truck come down and him and another fella pulled buddy out of the truck”

Police are on scene and investigating the situation and are calling it a two-vehicle crash.
