A large power outage is impacting the Moncton area but crews are getting the lights back on.
Roughly 5,000 NB Power customers are without electricity on Monday.
Most of the outages are now in the Shediac and Cap Pele areas.

Nearly 25,000 were dealing with outages at the height of the unexpected blackout with the bulk in the Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe communities.
No word on the cause.
