One man is in custody after a heavy police presence in Cole Harbour.

RCMP say it was on Agincourt Cres, Sunday evening around 5:40 p.m., when a someone barricaded himself inside a home.

Immediate neighbours were told to stay inside their homes as a precaution.

Shortly after the man was arrested.

RCMP are continuing to investigate.
