An internet outage affecting thousands of customers.
It’s due to a fibre break from construction near Bayers Lake in Halifax, at Highway 103 and St. Margarets Bay Rd.
In an email to customers, Purple Cow says the problem spans across Nova Scotia, impacting all providers.
Crews are working to repair the issue, but it will likely take all day.
Some customers in western Hfx/St. Margarets Bay are without service as a result of damage to our network caused by local road construction in the area. Our crews are onsite, working with NS Power & other partners to repair the damage and get service back up as quickly as we can.
