RCMP are alerting the public, they are looking for a man at large with an axe in the Porters Lake area.
Police say it was yesterday morning when they responded to a report of a man in distress at a home in the 100 block of West Petpeswick Rd.
He damaged the home with an axe and ran into the woods.
Police say Brandon Crawford Grant, age 26, is wanted under a province-wide arrest warrant.
He is described as 6’4, 300 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
Thursday morning, RCMP remain in the area.
Twin Oakes Memorial Hospital and The Birches are currently on lockdown.
Eastern Shore District High School is in a hold and secure.
West Petpeswick Rd is now open, but officers remain in the area.
