Hundreds of pounds of lobster have been taken from the Dipper Harbour wharf.

Misty Harbour Seafood said its lobster car was broken into on Sunday night.

Around 800 pounds of lobster was taken, according to the Saint John-based business.

A lobster car is a slatted container where live lobsters are kept under water awaiting sale or transport.

Anyone with information about the theft should reach out to the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
