A high school student in Dryden has been named a finalist of the Duck brand Stuck at Prom Scholarship.

Monica Walsh created a prom dress entirely from Duck Tape, which took 126 hours and 13 rolls of tape to complete.

Inspiration behind the dress comes from the artist Romero Britto with bright colors and fun patterns.

Walsh said in a release that she created this dress to stand out.

“My goal was for my dress to be unique, runway-worthy, and push the limits of prom fashion,” she said.

Her hard work put her in the running for a $15,000 scholarship, competing against four other artists.

To help Walsh win, you can vote for her dress here before July 10, 2024.
