Sad news over the weekend with the death of another music legend, Don Everly. He passed away at age 84. His younger brother Phil died in 2014. The brotherly duo scored huge success in the 50’s and 60’s with number one hits on the pop and country charts, like Bye Bye Love and Wake Up Little Susie, with those unforgettable harmonies. The Everly Brothers broke up after a quarrel in 1974 , but patched things up and reunited in 1983. They were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and The Country Music Hall of Fame in 2001. Kyle Young, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, said in a statement. “As a singer, a songwriter and a guitar innovator, Don Everly was one of the most talented and impactful artists in popular music history.”
