A New Brunswick track and field athlete is back in action at the Paris Olympics on Tuesday.

Craig Thorne of Quispamiss will compete in the repechage round of the men’s 110m hurdles.

Six of the 21 athletes competing will secure a spot in the semifinal on Wednesday afternoon.

The 23-year-old Thorne placed 26th in the opening round with a time of 13.60 seconds.

The repechage round is scheduled to begin around 5:50 a.m. Atlantic Time on Tuesday.
