Saint John Police are now investigating a homicide after the discovery of human remains.

They were found in a wooded area off King William Road on Thursday.

Police have now identified the remains as 52-year-old Allan Lee.

An extensive search was conducted on Friday including canine units, grid searches, and drone surveillance.

An autopsy was performed on Saturday.

The Major Crime Unit is continuing to investigate.  Witnesses on the west side who may have video footage or surveillance are asked to contact the Saint John Police Force at 1-506-648-3333 or Crimestoppers.
