Get prepared for a severe thunderstorm.

Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Inverness and Victoria Counties.

The forecaster says the warning will continue until late this afternoon and could produce heavy downpours and flash flooding.

Environment Canada says there could be 25 to 35 mm of rain per hour.
