A heavy police presence outside a home in Lower Sackville.

RCMP and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) is on Boxwood Crescent responding to a situation involving a person inside a home that may be armed.

Police says there is no immediate threat to anyone outside the home.

Officers have closed Boxwood Crescent to traffic to allow officers to do their work.

Investigators are asking people to avoid the area to allow officers to do their work.
