The Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board has some new leadership.
They have announced a new superintendent of education.

His dedication to student well-being and academic success are evident in all he does.”
He has 27 years of experience in educational leadership having served as a teacher, vice-principal and most recently, principal for ten years.
In his new role, he will focus on enhancing educational equity and continuing to foster a collaborative culture among staff, students, and families.
Alongside the Senior Team, he will also assist with improving academic performance, and the implementation of new curriculum and programming.
“I am honoured to join my colleagues at the Board Office and I look forward to working alongside an incredible group of educators, administrators and talented staff,” said Lacaria. “I am excited to carry on my work at a larger level, continuing to make TBCDSB an innovative and remarkable place to learn and grow.”
