One highway closure of note this morning.

A portion Highway 17 just west of Dryden is closed to traffic.

A collision took place around 1:00 this morning between the intersection of Highway 594 and Leach Road.

That portion of the Trans-Canada has been closed ever since.

Motorist can use Highway 594 to get around the accident scene and into or exiting Dryden.

The cause of the accident, nor the duration of the closure have been released.
