Still more ballots to be counted from Monday’s federal election.

Elections Canada has started counting the mail-in, or special ballots.

All have been counted in the riding of Thunder Bay-Superior North where Patty Hajdu was a clear winner.

Ninety-five per cent have been counted in both the ridings of Kenora and Thunder Bay-Rainy River.

Conservative incumbent Eric Melillo and Liberal Marcus Powlowski ended Monday night with sizeable leads in their respective ridings.

It still could be a few days more before all ballots are counted elsewhere in the country.
