Join me this week on the UNCLE ED’S COUNTRY DEN, I’ll be playing classic country from artists inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and for Canada’s Walk of Fame (like Thunder Bay‘s own Paul Shaffer). The stars are included on 13 blocks in Toronto and had its first group of inductees in 1988, which included Gordon Lightfoot coming up, and Brett Kissel in a team-up with Hall of Fame member Charley Pride; Hank Williams and his son, classic songwriter Bobby Braddock as my Classic Country Legend with songs he created for Tammy Wynette and Toby Keith, who still hasn’t been inducted, along with other potential members Skeeter Davis, Rosanne Cash and John Denver; inductees Marty Robbins with guitarist Grady Martin; Waylon Jennings, Anne Murray; George Strait with an honored songwriter; Johnny Bond, Minnie Pearl and Hank Snow including this year’s inductee The Judds and more.
The Country Den is brought to you by Backstage, Thunder Bay’s newest music and accessory store on 215 Red River Road, Sunday morning at 6 on Country 105.
