RECIPE OF THE WEEK: BAKED ZITI
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups cups butternut squash
Oil
Salt
Pepper
1lb ziti pasta
Roasted tomatoes (canned)
Garlic
¾ cup milk
8oz mozzarella
4oz parmesan
¼ cup breadcrumbs
¼ cup panko crumbs
Directions:
Cut up the butternut squash and toss in a bowl with garlic gloves and whatever seasoning you’d like and some oil. Then bake in the oven for 20-25 min at 425. While that is baking, cook the pasta. Turn the oven down to 375 and take out the squash and put the tomatoes, garlic and squash in a blender, puree until smooth. Once that is done start adding in the cheese and then add that to the cooked pasta in a baking dish. Put that in the oven for 30-40 mins.
