Two people from Digby County have been charged with drug trafficking.

RCMP from Meteghan, Digby and Yarmouth helped with a search warrant in Ashmore last week.

Officers seized cocaine, meth, illegal cigarettes, two handguns and several pellet weapons.

A 36-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, both from Ashmore, were released on conditions.

They’ll appear in Digby Provincial Court on April 7.
