Winter weather has led to numerous school closures in Bridgewater, Port Hawkesbury, and Yarmouth for Wednesday.

All schools in the South Shore Regional Centre for Education are closed. However, schools in Queens County remain open, with back road closures in place.

The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education area will also be closed due to icy conditions on back/dirt roads.

Pleasant Bay School and Cape Breton Highlands Education Centre have cancelled classes in the Strait Regional Centre due to the poor weather conditions.
