The South Shore Lumberjacks dropped Game 4 of their Veterans Cup Playoff series at home, falling 3-2 to the East Hants Penguins on Monday night.

East Hants built a 3-0 lead with goals from Jayson Hanson, who scored twice, and Logan Durno. Hanson’s second goal, a power-play marker in the second period, proved to be the game-winner.

Brennan Coleman scored both goals for South Shore, cutting the deficit to one with just 50 seconds left in regulation, but the Lumberjacks couldn’t find the equalizer.

With the series now tied, South Shore will travel to East Hants for a decisive Game 5 on Friday, March 7.
