Two men have been arrested following a fatal off-highway vehicle collision in Annapolis County.

RCMP say two side-by-sides collided on Heartland Road in West Dalhousie on Saturday afternoon.

A 72-year-old man from the community was ejected from one of the vehicles and died at the scene.

The driver, a 53-year-old from Carleton Corner, suffered minor injuries and was arrested for impaired operation causing death.

The second driver, a 49-year-old man from West Dalhousie, was arrested for impaired operation causing death at a nearby home.

A third side-by-side was also present at the time of the incident but police said it is not believed to have been involved in the crash.
