A collision has shut down both lanes of Highway 17 between Dryden and Kenora.

The closure stretches from the west end of Dryden to the Highway 71 turnoff south of Kenora.

Emergency crews are on scene, but there is no word yet on injuries or how long the highway will remain closed. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area and find alternate routes.

The closure includes the stretch of highway near Egli’s Sheep Farm in Minnitaki.
