Environment Canada issued that a rainfall warning is still in place for Saint John and County, Grand Manan, Coastal Charlotte County, and Fundy.

Additional rainfall amounts of 10 to 20 millimetres are expected, with heavier rain possible in areas experiencing intense downpours.

The rain is forecasted to ease around the afternoon on Tuesday, but localized flooding remains a concern for low-lying areas.

Heavy rainfall may also lead to water pooling on roads, creating hazardous driving conditions.

Environment Canada advises motorists to turn on their headlights, slow down, and maintain a safe following distance if visibility becomes reduced.
