Who’s running in the April 28 federal election?
The races are now set for the upcoming federal election on April 28.
Elections Canada released the list of confirmed candidates on Wednesday.
Four candidates are looking to become the next MP in the riding of Moncton-Dieppe.
Liberal incumbent Ginette Petitpas Taylor, first elected in 2015, is seeking her fourth term in office.
Conservative Jocelyn Dionne, the NDP’s Serge Landry and Green candidate Marshall Dunn have also put their names forward.
Beauséjour has six candidates, including Liberal incumbent Dominic LeBlanc, who is seeking his ninth term in office.
NDP candidate Alex Gagne, Josh Shaddick of the Green Party, Eddie Cornell of the People’s Party and Libertarian candidate Donna Allen are also running to become the next MP.
Fundy Royal has five candidates: Conservative incumbent Rob Moore — who is seeking his seventh term — Liberal Bill Kudla, Cindy Andrie with the NDP, the Green’s Hans Johnsen and People’s Party candidate Alastair MacFarlane.
If you want to vote before election day, you can do so at any Elections Canada office until 6 p.m. on April 22.
Advance polls will also be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. between April 18 and 21.
Voter information cards are currently in the mail and should arrive by Friday, April 11.
