Nova Scotia Power is responding to a cyber attack that has downed some of their IT systems.

The utility says their IT team is working with third-party cybersecurity experts to restore their “systems safely and securely,” according to a news release on their website.

They continue to investigate the incident and say there is currently no disruption to electricity generation, transmission, or distribution.

The utility has not released any more details at this time.

Nova Scotia Power also posted on social media that they are having technical issues with their phone line, and an issue preventing people from accessing their MyAccount system.
