Residents in part of Saint John’s north end are being told to shelter in place as police search for a shooting suspect.

Saint John police posted about the incident on social media shortly after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

“One person shot, suspect has not been identified or located,” said the post.

People are being told to avoid Rockwood Park, Lily Lake, Seeley Street and Mount Pleasant Avenue.

Residents living in the area are urged to shelter in place until further notice.
