Thunder Bay residents are invited to an opportunity to talk and meet with city staff in a casual, open-house style event.
Thunder Bay Talks is providing residents with an opportunity to speak to staff in a setting where they can move freely between information tables, allowing you a chance to speak one-on-one with staff.
The hope for the event is to give residents a chance to learn more about city services, projects, and initiatives.
“Thunder Bay Talks is all about connection and a chance to have real conversations with city staff in a fun, welcoming space,” said Director of Strategy & Engagement, Cynthia Olsen. “We’re keeping it casual, grab a hotdog, ask a question, share your ideas, or just come say hi. We’re excited to hear from you and talk about the city we all care about.”
She added that there will not be any formal speeches or presentations, just good conversations, good food and a chance to learn more about what’s happening across the city.
The event is taking place on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the West Thunder Community Centre (915 Edward St. South).
There will be a free BBQ, snacks, refreshments, giveaways and a chance to win a door prize.
