One person was rushed to the hospital after a collision between a pedestrian and a commercial vehicle in Moncton.

First responders were called to St. George Boulevard and Edinburgh Drive around 2:50 p.m. on Thursday.

Brad Calhoun, a platoon chief with the Moncton Fire Department, said one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

RCMP and WorkSafeNB are investigating the incident, according to Calhoun.
