Parts of New Brunswick could see some severe thunderstorms on Thursday, according to Environment Canada.

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for portions of central and southeastern New Brunswick, including:

  • Grand Lake and Queens County
  • Kent County
  • Moncton and southeast New Brunswick
  • Stanley – Doaktown – Blackville area
  • Sussex – Kennebecasis Valley and Kings County

Forecasters said dangerous thunderstorms could develop in the afternoon and early evening which may produce damaging wind gusts, large hail and heavy rain.
