A 25-year-old man is facing a list of charges including attempted murder after a stabbing in Dartmouth.

Police say, Sunday at around 12:20 a.m., two men who know each other got into a fight on Primrose Street.

One stabbed the other with a knife.

During the arrest, the suspect was identified as being involved in a break and enter at an NSLC just a couple hours prior.

The victim was taken to hospital.

The suspect is scheduled to appear in court today facing charges of:

• Attempted murder
• Breach of probation (x2)
• Break and enter
• Possession of stolen goods under $5000.00
• Mischief
