Thunder Bay Police Service officers are maintaining a presence on the city’s south side following a late-night call on Monday.

Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Amelia Street West at around 11:40 p.m. and have remained on scene as part of an active response.

Police have not released details about the nature of the incident, but are asking members of the public to avoid the area while the investigation continues.

The service says updates will be shared as more information becomes available.
