West Hants RCMP are asking for the public’s help to find a Hants County man wanted across the province.

Andrew Scott Barker, 47, is facing a long list of charges, including:

• Unlawful confinement

• Assault

• Assault with a weapon

• Administering or causing drugs to be taken

• Uttering threats

• Robbery

• Theft of a motor vehicle

Barker is described as 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, with green eyes and short brown hair and beard. Police believe he may be armed and could be driving a red Fiat. A stock photo of the vehicle has been released.

RCMP say they’ve made several attempts to locate him and are now turning to the public for assistance.

Anyone with information is urged not to approach him and to call 911.
