The active case count is on the decline in the Thunder Bay District Health Unit.

Officials report 62 new cases Thursday with twelve individuals obtaining the virus from someone else who had the virus and three picking it up from travel outside of Northwest Ontario.

There are now 193 cases with five outbreaks of COVID-19, none affecting Lakehead Public Schools or the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board.
