The Recreation Center in Ignace is due for some upgrades.
The Township of Ignace is getting just over $935,000 from the Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund.
Work will include roof repairs, upgrades to its mechanical system, improved moisture control, electrical improvements, and energy efficient lighting.
The province is making $200 million dollars available in the fund.
It a provincewide initiative to revitalize local facilities and promote healthy, active living across Ontario.
