A home has been badly damaged after a fire off of Highway 7 in Westphal.

Halifax Professional Fire Fighters say they got the call around 1:30 p.m., Thursday.

The fire started on the veranda.

Everyone in the home got out and no injuries have been reported.

Crews remain on the scene to investigate.
