Highway 17 just west of Ignace is open again after a collision closed the road.

An accident took place around 8:00 this morning and involved a semi-transport trailer and a pick-up truck.

The OPP say one person has been airlifted to hospital and clean-up from the crash has taken place.

No other details have been released.
