Investigators looking for answers into a shooting near Hillcrest Park.

One man is being treated at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre after Thunder Bay Police were called to the house on Machar Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Friday.

Members of the Major Case Unit are involved in the investigation.

Investigators do not believe this was a random event.
