A section of Highway 11/17 near Thunder Bay remains closed following a collision on Monday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police first posted about the crash on social media around 8:15 a.m.

All lanes are closed between Highway 61/Harbour Expressway and Highway 130/Vibert Road North

“Please avoid the area by using alternate routes,” OPP said in a Facebook post.

No other details about the collision have been released by police.
