There’s help for residents in Irishtown and other communities who have been placed on alert and could be forced to evacuate due to forest fires.

Posts are surfacing on social media from New Brunswickers offering assistance.

One from the Boyle Family Farm, who are willing to transport cattle or horses to a safe space.

“I know for a fact that the majority of small hobby farms don’t have a cattle trailer. People who buy livestock generally get it delivered. So I was just thinking last night that there could be some people who need some help, and we have a bunch of trucks and a couple of trailers. So we just thought we would offer it to the public, and if somebody gets in a bad way, we’ll we’ll take time out of our day, and we’ll try to make it better for them,” Owner Mitchell Boyle told our newsroom.
